About The Basil Farm
The Basil Farm is a Philippine-based farm specializing in Thai herbs and vegetables grown using traditional Thai farming methods, including canal-based irrigation. Located near Mount Arayat, the farm also grows other herbs, vegetables, seeds, and seedlings with consistent care and attention to quality.
The farm was established with the intention of growing Thai herbs and vegetables as they are traditionally grown in Thailand — not only in variety, but in method.
We are among the first farms in the Philippines to adopt Thai farming practices that rely on canal-based irrigation, a system commonly used in Thailand to support consistent moisture, healthy root development, and resilient crops. This approach allows us to grow Thai herbs and vegetables under conditions closer to how they are cultivated in their place of origin.
Our Thai crops are grown using authentic growing methods and selected planting materials, with close attention to water flow, soil condition, and seasonal changes. This allows us to achieve quality, structure, and flavor that are true to Thai market standards.
In addition to Thai herbs and vegetables, we also grow other herbs and produce using the same level of care and observation. Seasonal changes, climate, and the natural rhythm of the land guide what we grow and when we grow it.
The farm is located near the foothills of Mount Arayat, where soil composition and climate play a significant role in crop development. Rather than forcing uniform results, we work with these natural conditions to support healthy, well-developed harvests.
Beyond fresh produce, we also make available seeds, seedlings, and growing mediums for customers who wish to grow herbs and vegetables at home, using materials prepared with the same standards applied on the farm.
The Basil Farm exists to preserve growing practices, respect the land, and offer produce cultivated with intention, consistency, and care.
